If you live in Maine, there is good news: the Efficiency Maine tax rebate program gives up to $8,000 back on energy efficiency improvements made to your house. This includes things like insulating attics, cathedral ceilings, all wall cavities, rim joists, basement walls, and crawl spaces.
Regardless of your income, you are entitled to a home efficiency rebate.
